Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
